Today marks one year until the start of the 2027 Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift in Yorkshire.
The first stage maybe short at around 50 miles, but there are at least some hills to spice things up.
The second climb of the day is the Côte de Meltham (3.2km, 8.2%) – better known as Wessenden Head Road to locals and the “Murder Mile” to runners in the 80’s and 90’s. Sadly there will be no Free-to-air TV coverage in 2026.

Côte de Meltham (3.2km, 8.2%) – better known as Wessenden Head Road as it snakes it way up out of Meltham, the climbing starts before the climb itself, near the chimney .
