Men’s Javelin Throw – Final
Vitezslav Vesely (CZE) was the best qualifier, but don’t discount Andreas Thorkildsen (NOR) and Tero Pitkamaki (FIN)
Men’s 5000m – Final
Last chance for the British men’s team to add to their medal tally. Mo Farah is the only Brit in there and fully capable of taking a medal but he will be out to make it a second gold (Sir Mo Farah???). Galen Rupp (USA) is in the form of his life and with team mate Bernard Lagat could break the recent African stranglehold on distance running.

Women’s 800m – Final
Likely dual between Pamela Jelimo (KEN), this seasons fastest and Caster Semenya (RSA) who seems to be improving with every race.
Women’s 4 x 400m Relay – Final
Last medal chance for the Brit’s, the girls will have their work cut out to pick up a medal of any colour.

Men’s 4 x 100m Relay – Final
With the British team continuing their inability to get though a relay without something going wrong (they won in 2004 at the Olympics, they have dropped batons in 1996 and 2000, and were disqualified in 2008 and now again in London).
As there is no British team for the crowd to cheer on in the final event on the track at the games, guess they’ll just have to make do with Usain Bolt then…..
