Percy Pud 10K 2011

Even poor weather couldn’t stop runners turning out in huge numbers for the Percy Pud 10K on Sunday. On a cold and windy morning, runners also had to contend with drownpours on the return leg.

Winner for the two previous years, Andy Ward clearly didn’t mind the weather, and the tail wind on the return leg no doubt played a part in his time of 31 mins 13 secs being the fastest winning time since 2005. Fiona Davies (Barnsley AC) took the women’s honours in 37 mins 57 secs.
